About me

Adam Cureton

I am an an Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Tennessee.  Prior to that, I did my Ph.D. in Philosophy at UNC Chapel Hill and received a B.Phil. in Philosophy from Oxford University, where I studied as a Rhodes Scholar.  My interests are mainly in ethical theory, the history of ethics, political philosophy and meta-ethics.  I am also interested in issues of disability.  I am founder and president of the Society for Philosophy and Disability; and I chair the American Philosophical Association Task Force on the Status of Disabled Philosophers in the Profession.
