I am an an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Tennessee. Prior to that, I did my Ph.D. in Philosophy at UNC Chapel Hill and received a B.Phil. in Philosophy from Oxford University, where I studied as a Rhodes Scholar. My interests are mainly in ethical theory, the history of ethics, political philosophy and metaethics. I am also interested in issues of disability, in part because of my own visual disability; and I am founder and president of the Society for Philosophy and Disability.
